Buffalo Gals, won't you come out tonight,
Come out tonight, come out tonight.
Buffalo Gals, won't you come out tonight
And dance by the light of the moon.

My figurative sculptures reflect my fascination with the fragility of life (both human and animal) and the huge external forces that surge around our lives and shape them – both physical forces and the forces of our human psyche and emotions that define our physical condition. The mutilated and psychically-damaged Alcheringa Girl alludes to the Dreamtime and like Buffalo Gal attempts to capture the fragility of our existence, our frequent failure to protect our inner world from intrusion, as we stand naked and exposed to the surging forces of the outside world.
